Ghostwriting and publishing. Your name on the cover.
We’ll plan your book with you, interview you, send you chapters as they’re written, and oversee the editing and publishing.

Who runs beside you.
Every project begins with the planning session I lead. After that, either I write your book with you or my team does.
Me, personally
I take on one or two private client books a year as lead ghostwriter and creative partner.
I conduct all the interviews, write every chapter and guide the manuscript from first word to final draft.
It’s the right fit for memoirs, legacy books and business or thought-leadership titles.
My team
My team writes your book, with me shaping the plan.
Your free discovery call is with my team.
The course, mile by mile
The first call
It starts with a free call, on the phone or Zoom, about three things:
- Your purpose for doing the book
- The outcomes you want from it
- What you want it to cover
Book planning
Every project begins with a book-planning session I lead myself. We work out what the book is for, who it’s for and what it has to say.
It’s also where we decide who runs beside you: me, personally, or my team, with me shaping the plan.
The interviews
Next come several days of interviews. You talk. We listen, record and keep asking until the real stories come out, the ones you’ve told at dinner for years and never thought of as a book.
- Rockefeller Center, New YorkIn person, in a beautiful office.
- Your home or officeIn person, wherever you’re located.
- ZoomOr keep going with hour-long conversations to complete the book.
Chapters as they’re written
You’ll receive chapters of the book on an agreed-upon timeframe, so you can give us your comments and criticisms right away.
Most ghostwriters only deliver a complete first draft, which makes it much harder for clients to provide critical feedback.
Matt Reiner, CFA, CFP, Capital Investment Advisors
“I entered the process with a general idea of what I wanted to talk on, and Michael let me speak. He asked questions. And was easily able to narrow in on what would make a quality story and book. Michael was quick to provide drafts and was always available to discuss the project.”
Copyediting
When the manuscript is complete, we’ll have it copy edited and ready for publication.
Publishing and distribution
Unlike most ghostwriting firms, we don’t stop at the manuscript.
- Design, layout and formatting
- Print on demand: Amazon and Barnes & Noble
- Simon & Schuster brick-and-mortar distribution
- Airport bookstore placement
- Audiobook and ebook production
- Marketing, media and PR campaigns
The launch
We also offer book launches at venues like these:
- The Cannes Film Festival
- The President’s Box at the U.S. Open
- Formula 1 Miami
- The Davos World Economic Forum
- Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party
Heard along the course.
“As the author of the E-Myth series of books for business owners, which has sold more than 5 million copies, I know something about books and authors! Michael Levin has created more successful books than anyone in human history. There is no one at his level!”
“The book Michael did for us, What Would The Rockefellers Do, has sold more than 400,000 copies. That book is responsible for the sale of more life insurance than any book anyone has written in the last 10 years.”
“From my very first meeting until the book was finally published, Michael was a delight to deal with. He made writing and publishing my first book a fun and beneficial experience.”
What we write.
Five kinds of books. Each one follows the course above.
Memoirs and legacy books
The story of your life, or your family’s, told in your voice.
“My father, Victor Carter, was a leading industrialist and philanthropist in Los Angeles for decades. Michael Levin worked with me to capture his story from his upbringing in Russia to his conquering of not one but three industries, including the film industry. Michael was a diligent partner, a thorough interviewer, and an outstanding writer, and I’m very proud of the book that we created together.”
Business and thought-leadership books
Your ideas and your approach in a book, with your name and photo on the cover.
Million Dollar Dentistry has sold more than 50,000 copies and helped Gary Kadi build a $10 million consultancy.
Collaborative ghostwriting
For authors who want to stay closely involved: we shape the book together, and it stays in your voice.
