Business Fables That Drive Business

The Most Engaging Way to Build Authority, Earn Trust, and Stand Out

The Power of Business Fables

A business fable is more than a story — it’s a strategic communication tool. At
Legacy by Levin, we craft custom business fables that help you build your platform, create authority, drive business and attract new clients, get speaking engagements, and separate yourself from the competition.

And yes — they’re fun.

Why a Business Fable?

Your audience doesn’t need another textbook — they need a message that resonates. A well-crafted business fable allows you to communicate complex ideas in a clear, accessible way while offering a reading experience that feels both engaging and memorable.

It helps you stand apart from competitors by showing, not telling, what makes your approach unique.

It’s the most powerful content asset you can create — especially if it’s done right.

Why Choose Legacy by Levin?

Michael’s fiction has been published by Simon & Schuster and Penguin/Putnam, and has been optioned and/or adapted for film or TV by ABC, HBO, Disney, Paramount, and Steven Soderbergh. A novel he ghostwrote for a client became a bestseller and an ABC series. One of his own novels was adapted as an ABC Disney Movie of the Week starring Justin Timberlake and appeared every six weeks for years on the Disney Channel (“Model Behavior”).

Levin and his team have written business fables for clients in consulting, financial services, business coaching, and many other fields.

“Michael and his staff helped me to take some actual events in my life and turn them into a non-fiction novel. They were instrumental in the final design, structure, editing and publishing of my book.  I am so grateful for their professional experience and support!”
– Timothy Patten, author, Money, Family, Murder

The Business Fable Process

Step 1: Planning the book

You and Michael brainstorm over the phone or Zoom to:

  • Identify the audience, purpose of the book, definition of success for the book, and the business lessons
  • Based on that conversation, Michael will outline the story arc, develop plot and characters, and share a plan for the story in a written document
  • You and Michael review the plan and make changes – the process is always collaborative – it’s your book, after all!

Michael then writes the first 20 pages — and you collaborate on edits.

Step 2: Writing and rewriting

You’ll receive chapters of the book on an agreed-upon timeframe, so you can provide your comments and criticisms immediately. Most ghostwriters only deliver a complete first draft, which makes it much harder for clients to provide critical feedback that can be immediately incorporated into the story.

Step 3: Publishing, Distribution, and Marketing

When the book is complete, Michael will guide you to “best of breed” book publishers, distributors, and marketers, so that your book is in the best hands and you never overpay for these services. Michael always oversees the relationships with the trusted professionals he has worked with for decades, ensuring you the best outcome in the least time and with the least amount of problems or concerns.

How Long Does It Take?

Surprisingly, the whole process takes as few as three to four months. When you have an extremely experienced writer, the book simply flows!
